Terms & Conditions

1. Who you are contracting with
MyResetMode ("the Service") is provided by Elizabeth Wanyoike, trading as MyResetMode ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Elizabeth Wanyoike.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country of residence.
3. The Service
MyResetMode is a personal wellness tool offering guided five-minute nervous system reset sessions, breathing and grounding prompts, ambient audio, reflection logging, streak tracking, and insight charts. A free tier is available; a Premium plan unlocks insights, journal history, and extended audio features.
Not medical advice. The Service is for general wellbeing and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified health professional about a medical or mental health condition, and seek emergency help if you are in crisis.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- engage in fraud, spam, or misrepresentation of your identity;
- infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning systems, bypassing rate limits or access controls, or scraping data;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or any part of it;
- share a single account with others, or circumvent plan or technical limits.
6. Licence and intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal use within the plan you have selected. We retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, content, session scripts, audio, design, and branding. You keep ownership of the reflections and notes you create, and grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely in order to provide the Service to you.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or outages may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes
Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account or via the payment provider's customer portal.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Billing, payment methods, currency, applicable taxes, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Please also see our Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. On termination, your licence ends; you may export your reflection data before closing your account, and we will delete or anonymise your data in line with our Privacy Notice.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, the content you submit, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Where changes are material we will give reasonable notice, and continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and the courts of the United Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
